Tis' the season! It's not very cold out, and we haven't had much snowfall, but the city is lit up and decorated, and the Christkindl Market is here! It's a tiny German market & holiday festival in downtown Denver where small booths sell handmade goods, glass-blown ornaments, sausages, latkes, and mulled cider. It was much smaller this year compared to last, but we had the rest of the 16th Street Mall to explore since we're hardly ever in Denver and don't get to walk it often.
We grabbed mochas first at ink! coffee
And then made our way to the Christkindl Market!
These wooden Santas were all hand-carved and painted!
And we picked up our very own Christmas Pickle!
After perusing the market goodies and trying to resist eating 5 pretzels, we strolled through the rest of the 16th Street Mall and Larimer Square Area
One of my favorite places in Larimer Square to grab coffee and desserts: The Market
Faux Snow Art
We hardly ever make the drive into Denver, so we're basically tourists every time we head that way. I think it'll be my mission this summer to explore more of Denver and not just the popular shopping centers ;)
