5 Halloween Re-do's, Project 2: Spooky Wine Toppers

5 Halloween Re-do's, Project 2: Spooky Wine Toppers

Oct 19, 2016

I'm baaaacccckkk!!! The cruise was absolutely incredible and was SO needed - I couldn't have asked for a better vacation! We took the Carnival Glory ship for 7 days, to Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belize and Cozumel. It was outrageously relaxing and filled with so much love and fun, to say the very least.  Each port that we explored was unique and each gave us great memories, but without a doubt, Belize was by far my absolute favorite.

I promise to do an entire post on our cruise for all you travel junkies, but with only just over a week left until Halloween, I want to get in as many spooky DIY's as I can! However, I will give you a little tid-bit from our trip (almost entirely because I can't contain my excitement over it).....

WE GOT ENGAGED!

After 13 years with this amazing man, I couldn't be happier that we're getting married! Luckily, my mom had the camera at the time of the proposal, so she was able to get a few shots when it happened! I will definitely be doing a post (or two! I have so many pictures!) of the entire vacation, including engagement shots, so you'll be able to see all that soon - promise!

But for now, let's get focused. HALLOWEEN.

The next project in our Halloween Re-Do's series, is a spin on this dinosaur wine-toppers post - spooky wine toppers!

If you remember from the Dinosaur Wine Toppers, this is crazy easy. And this time around, even easier, because there's no need to spray paint!

You'll need:

Rubber Wine Stoppers

E-6000

Any small ornamental Halloween piece (mine were all from Michaels for $3.99 each)

First, put a big glob of E-6000 on the top of your wine stopper.

Then, press your Halloween piece on top, pushing it firmly into the glue.

Let dry for a couple hours, and in the meantime, repeat the same process for any other spooky wine toppers you want to make.

And that's it! Promptly go out and buy cheap Halloween wine glasses to enjoy with your "Halloween-ified" wine bottles ;)

Project 3 is coming up in just a couple of days - see you soon! And if you missed the first Halloween re-do, check it out here!
